First Steps for Incoming Students with Disabilities

(Freshmen and Transfer Students)

Once you have been accepted to TCU, have paid all enrollment and housing deposits, and are registered for orientation then:

  • Contact the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities at 817-257-7486 regarding what to bring to orientation.

  • On the second day of orientation, after meeting with an Orientation Advisor and enrolling in courses, go to Sadler Hall room 11 and complete the Disability Services “Intake Packet.”

  • At that time, submit the required comprehensive documentation to the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities.

  • After the Coordinator has reviewed the documentation (this typically occurs in July for students who are admitted for fall), she will notify you of your next steps via e-mail.
